Sarah Jamison Artist Talk

On September 28th, 2020 the Kohl Gallery had the privilege of welcoming D.C. visual artist Sarah Jamison for an online talk about her own work which weaves together popular viral images with contemporary fine arts materials to create pieces which scratch at questions of the human condition in an ever more entwined digital culture.

Brought on to speak by Kohl Gallery director Tara Gladden, Jamison walked a class of fine arts majors and interested attendees through her process of transforming digital imagery into analog representations of our contemporary digital culture using colored pencils, markers, gouache, ink and paint pens.
