Amber Eve Anderson Artist Talk
On March 16th, Tara Gladden, Director and Curator for the Kohl Gallery, welcomed Amber Eve to give an artist talk on her journey as an artist. Originally, Ms. Eve believed she would have been a painter until some of her other projects, such as Shapes, held more significant meaning to her. Ms. Eve presented her works including, Shapes, an edited photograph of people in the shapes of states that were significant to her. Another piece of art she shared was named Apartment 404 Not Found, which featured screenshots of intimate conversations about furniture being given away for free. Several of her pieces focused on what “home” meant. The presentation concluded with a Q+A session. The college is very thankful to have her come speak.
