Riders to the Sea

The Theatre Department put on a production of John Millington Synge’s “Riders to the Sea” as a directing Senior Capstone Experience by Caitlin Woods ‘21, and a design SCE by Miles Cochran ‘21. The show was put on as an audio play and an in-person design installation in Tawes Theatre April 23rd and 24th 2021. The pre-recorded audio explored dialects as the play was set in Inishmaan but there were no on-stage performers present for the show. This unique set-up allowed 5 patrons at a time to come see the installation in Tawes Theatre or, for those unable to attend in-person, to watch the recording online.
