The Shorewomen finished their season with a 7-11 record and qualified for the 2013 Centennial Conference Tournament. This year marked the seventh time since 2006 the program has reached post season play. Senior captains Campbell McNicol and Kat Cohen will both be graduating this spring. McNicol ends her career with identical 46-28 records in both singles and doubles. Cohen ends her career with a 45-31 singles record and a 33-44 doubles record. Freshman Marielle McIntrye, who shared the team’s Most Improved Player award, led the team with 15 singles wins. Freshman April Weaver, currently ranked #17 in the Atlantic South Region, who won the Team’s Most Valuable Player award, teamed with freshman Gyeyeon Kang to lead the team with 18 doubles wins. Junior Amy Stevens was also recognized as the team’s Most Improved Player along with McIntyre.
