WIGS is a society dedicated to students interested in role-play gaming, table top and board games, and strategy games of all types. Over the course of a year, WIGS runs an annual LARP session, which stands for Live Action Role Playing. During one of these sessions, players dress up in costumes which represent a fantasy or time period in which the role play is set. During a LARP night, you might see a Werewolf or Mage running across campus, but don’t worry. They’re simply in the process of completing some quest, dead set on an epic adventure. This year’s LARP took place in the old west, where players found themselves combating angels and demons in a war between order and chaos.

In addition to LARP, WIGS also hosts a weekly board game night which people may bring their favorite board games to. They also will help students organize their own table top sessions and advertise to any and all people interested in joining in on a game.
