Wacapella Fall Concert

On December 8th at 7:30 p.m. and December 9th at 2:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m, Wacapella held their biannual concert for the fall semester donned in their all black concert attire and matching green accessories. Performed In Tawes Theater, the group sang the music they had been working on throughout the fall semester. For this concert, the group sang a total of nine songs. The concert began with a group song of “Budapest” by George Ezra. Then, Maddie Fernandez ‘25 came to the front to sing the solo for “Breakeven” by The Script. Following Fernandez, CJ Dunker ‘25 sang “The Night We Met” by Lord Huron accompanied by Grace Apostol ‘24. Next up were three girl power songs, “Lay All Your Love On Me” by ABBA with soloist Mackenzie Ford ‘24, “Dream” by the Cranberries led by Apostol, and “ocean eyes” by Billie Eilish. Following these were some powerful ballads, “Uptown Girl” by Billy Joel sung by Kaitlyn Mankevich ‘27, “Sign of the Times” by Harry Styles sung by Sarah Cangialosi ‘24, and finally “Somebody That I Used To Know” by Gotye with the duo Seth Horan ‘26 and Delaney Runge ‘24.
