On Tuesday, April 19th at 7:00 p.m. the Wellness Advocacy Coaches hosted a plant your own succulent night in the Hodson Goosenest. Students could choose a succulent of their choice, pot it, and name it. The purpose of the event was to educate students about the psychological benefits of caring for plants and having them in your space. Wellness Advocacy Coach Lauryn Konieczka handed out flyers that listed the mental health benefits of growing plants, which lowers anxiety levels, reduces stress, and increases productivity.
