SEB Cooking Class

On September 4, 2020, the Student Events Board held their first virtual event of the season, a cooking class! Instructions and materials were emailed prior to the event so students could follow along. Several students attended this zoom class to learn two recipes: blueberry cinnamon muffins led by Liz Hay and no-bake chocolate chip energy balls with Jacklyn Russo. The class began with Liz’s recipe which she found on the New York Times, but she made it her own by adding steps and ingredients. Everyone was able to see the final product, as she had some already cooked. Next, Jacklyn presented her recipe, which she had found on wellplated.com. She suggested many delicious substitute options to fit your personal preferences. Not only is baking a fun Friday night event, but as Liz Hay stated, “Baking can be a great stress reliever in a pandemic.”
