On Wednesday of Sophie Kerr week, on the 5th of February, the president of the Hippodrome Foundation came to speak to students about her work. She explained the multitude of opportunities that the foundation makes available to students in the larger Baltimore area in the areas of performance, set design, and props. The Hippodrome is located in Baltimore city, and is famous for being the only theatre in Maryland to host a schedule of Broadway shows every year. Students who attend Camp Hippodrome can perform on the same stage where these famous productions take place!
