This year’s annual Shoremal was hosted on October 19, 2024. While there was no theme for the event this year, there was an abundance of gold decorations and blue flowers. DJ Buck Nasty controlled the music for the evening as students participated in the Cupid Shuffle, Cotton Eye Joe, and a small tribute to late One Direction star Liam Payne. During the first hour of the dance, freshmen gathered in a circle and participated in a group dance involving “throwing” someone in the circle. After that hour, more students arrived until the dance floor was completely full.
