On Advising Day, April 6, the Student Events Board held its annual Shorefest. The event started at 12 and while it was originally meant to be outside on the Campus Green many of the activities were moved inside of Hodson Hall due to inclement weather. The Goose Nest was home to games and activities such as mini cornhole, hula hooping, and floor scooters while the Egg was transformed into a space for students to paint. Students also had the opportunity to enter a raffle to win a free year of Spotify premium. Right outside of Hodson students could get their faces painted, enjoy some delicious Lockbriar and Daughter Ice Cream, or eat some burgers and hot dogs fresh from the grill. While the event did not go according to SEB’s original plans, it still came together to provide students with a day of fun activities and delicious food.
