Ruins- A Writing Workshop
On October 20th, students were invited to “ruin” pieces of text in their own creative way with Dr. Hall and Dr. Markoski. The workshop was reinforced by Nara Park’s installation, “I Was Here,” which was on exhibit at the Kohl Gallery. Students were recommended to bring works that didn’t sit well with them, like a Victorian conduct book for women, a piece of visual rhetoric, or anything that begged for urgent, creative responses.

Nara Park's installation, "I Was Here," consisted of a series of brick walls, made to give the impression that they were ruins of a former structure.

Dr. Hall also ruined a piece of writing.
