First-Year Reading
As per Literary House tradition, this semester had the annual first-year reading. First-year Washington College students, Julie Amoss, Tamara Devlin, Sophie Foster, Michelle Henry, Colleen Pogue, Vivienne Sharp, Joshua Torrence, and Dante Chavez each read some of their original work in front of the virtual audience of Washington College students, professors, and community members. Due to the unprecedented circumstances, some family members, who wouldn’t usually be able to come out to Chestertown for the reading, were able to attend the Zoom event.
