Ron Currie Jr. Screening

November 9, 2023

The Rose O’Neil Literary House invited Ron Currie Jr. to give a talk on his experience as an author and screenwriter. When he started out, Ron Currie Jr. began a magazine for short stories which eventually moved online and turned into a workshop critique. “The point was that because the town was global, we had an insane talented group of people,” the screenwriter said. According to Associate Director of the Rose O’Neil Literary House, professor Kesey, he was taught from Currie how to end a story instead of just stopping them. Currie eventually made his way up into screenwriting because of his magazine. After, he worked on shows such as “Extrapolations” on Apple TV.  The event took place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 9th. The Rose O’Neil Literary House also provided food and drinks.
