To celebrate the warm spring weather, Washington College’s Hillel, the Black Student Union, and Encouraging Respect of Sexualities organized a Kona Ice event on the Cater Walk. Members of each club offered a variety of snacks and sweet treats to students passing by, which included freshly-popped popcorn and homemade cookies, in addition to an appearance from a shaved ice truck, Kona Ice. This event started at noon and ended at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 9th. Students could pick from a variety of shaved ice flavors and customize to their liking as a break from the bustle of their days in class.

Students line up to enjoy a free snow cone on a bright sunny day.

Members of Washington College’s EROS made decorated cookies.
