  • Rosh Hashanah (Jewish New Year)

  • Guests feasted on a 3 course Kosher meal at the Hillel House.

  • The club hosted 30 members, as well as Darnell Parker and President Reiss.

  • Sukkot

    • A few students visited a local Havurah (a Jewish community in Chestertown) member’s house to celebrate the holiday of Sukkot.

  • Challah baking at the Hillel House

    • Sybil Wolin, a Chestertown Havurah member, shared her expertise with the Hillel group in helping bake Challah bread.

    • 15 students prepared, kneaded, braided, and baked bread.

  • Channukah party at Hillel House

  • Passover Seder

    • 80 people were present at the Passover Seder, located in Hynson Lounge.

    • Hillel and Havruah members celebrated the miracle of Passover while participating in services lead by Rebecca DeSantis and Cantor Gary Schiff.
