On Saturday, September 25th, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. the Student Government Association hosted the Flock to the Waterfront at the Hodson Boathouse. This is the first time the event has been held since the COVID-19 pandemic started. The event hosted fun activities such as lawn games, paddle boarding, tubing, kayaking, fishing, as well as a cornhole tournament. Students who came to the event could enjoy free gifts which included t-shirts, sunglasses, frisbees, water bottles, and hand towels. With music playing and burgers and hot dogs on the grill, students were able to have a chance to relax at the start of the semester and enjoy some fun in the sun.
Students who have passed their swim tests are able to sign out kayaks, and enjoy a beautiful day paddling along the Chester River.
The corn hole tournament was so popular SGA had to ask to borrow cornhole boards from Greek Life organizations on campus.
