Erotic Lit Reading

President of the Writer’s Union Sophie Foster ‘24 reads a poem.

Social Media Manager Riley Dauber ‘25 reads a segment from a book called Smut.

One of the most famous Writers’ Union events is the Erotic Lit Reading, dedicated towards reading romantic (or even erotic) works from poetry or prose pieces, mostly just for laughs and giggles, but with the occasional switch of genuine love stories. The event was hosted at 6:00 p.m. in the Lit House on Valentine’s Day, February 14th. One student, Riley Dauber ‘25 read a scene from a book called Smut, in which two characters have sex in a public library, in which many people were able to laugh at it or joke about it. Vice President, Caryl Townsend ‘24 read a letter written by a man where he discussed his love for farts. The reading was silly, and most people showed up for comedic purposes.
