The circle outside Goldstein was filled with onlookers at the astronomical event.
In order to celebrate the eclipse on Monday, April 8th, the Writing Center hosted an Eclipse Party. At the event, there were eclipse-safe glasses, snacks, and a mocktail. Peak viewing time was 3:15 p.m., so leading up to the time, students, faculty, and staff gathered in the circle outside of the back of Goldstein Hall. As the time approached, everyone gathered took turns using eclipse glasses to look up at the sky and see the moon moving in front of the sun. The party was a highly popular event with a big turnout.
