Collegian Workshop

WC students and Collegian staff give feedback to each other’s work.

According to their social media, it has been nearly four years since lockdown. Washington College’s creative writing magazine, Collegian, had their first workshop meeting since then. The event was brought by 2023 to 2024 editor in chief, Sophie Foster, and the rest of the staff as well on Tuesday, October 10th at 6:00 p.m. in the Publications House. There, students were given the opportunity to not only have their work revised for the opportunity to submit to the magazine’s next issue, but also help revise other student’s work. WC students could remain anonymous or reveal which work was theirs and receive more specific feedback. Writing ranged from eco-poetry to historical fiction. Students were welcome to give their thoughts on other pieces as well.
