Cello Faculty Recital

Professor Diana Golden plays the cello.

Lecturer of Music, Diana Golden, brought out the cello on Monday, October 23rd in Hotchkiss. The event was part of a series held by Washington College’s Music Department, where professors were given the opportunity to perform their own instruments at a faculty recital. The soothing sounds and strums carried longevity and weight. At times, the pacing of the music would pick up. Golden admitted she began practicing the cello more after a broken foot. 7:30 p.m. was a wonderful time to begin the music, as the starting song was meant to be played at sunset.
