BSU Stop and Paint
October 20th, 2021

On Wednesday, October 20th, students gathered in the Hodson Egg to enjoy a “Stop & Paint” event hosted by the Black Student Union. Everyone painted on mini-canvases and easels, and were only allowed to paint while the music played. Other fun challenges were thrown in to throw off painters such as asking them to paint with their non-dominant hand, to paint facing backwards, or to paint with one eye closed, whenever the music stopped. At the end of the event, students were asked if they would like their paintings to hang in BSU’s office, to commemorate the event. Attendees enjoyed some pizza, an impromptu karaoke session to Miley Cyrus’ “Party in the USA,” and plenty of laughs!
