Black Student Union celebrates the first day of class.
To celebrate the first day of class, Washington College’s Black Student Union club handed out donuts and coffee on Monday, August 26th at 8:30am to 11:00am. This took place in the tables by Hodson. Black Student Union helped new and old students alike who may have been a little bit nervous prepare for the day. The types of donuts included strawberry, chocolate, boston creme, and more. Even with the large amount of boxes they bought, they still ran out because the event was so popular. Black Student Union helped build community before classes even started and it certainly made the newcomers feel welcomed as well.
