AXO Self-Care for Survivors
February 14th, 2023
The event was welcome to everyone so people could pamper themselves on Valentine’s Day as well as do something kind for a stranger.
All attendees were encouraged to write heartfelt letters of support to include with the survivors packages.

To celebrate Valentine’s Day, the sisters of Alpha Chi Omega hosted a Self-Care for Survivors event, located in the GooseNest. From 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. attendees had the opportunity to create two self-care packages, one for themselves, and one for a survivor of domestic violence. Kits included a makeup bag, face, lip, and eye masks, chapstick, nail polish, candles, and more. All packages and proceeds from the event were donated to Mid-Shore Council on Family Violence, a non-profit domestic violence shelter servicing Maryland's Eastern Shore.
