Alejandro Brittes Quartet
September 28, 2023
The band presents.
Alejandro’s translator.
Musician Alejandro Brittes arrived on campus to connect with Washington College. Located in the Decker Theater at 7:30 p.m. on September 28th, students were able to listen to the soft sounds of instrumental music. The background behind the performers changed colors to fit the theme. In one song, Alejandro said it was written about his father growing up on a river. The background changed to blue, making almost anyone feel like they are in the water. There was a wide variety of music, played with different instruments, and sounds ranged from intense to soft and slow. Alejandro had a translator with him, and through which he was able to give some background of the music he presented. He even had a song dedicated to a woman that Alejandro Brittes said “didn’t end well.” The crowd laughed at this, and many were able to enjoy his performance.
The crowd watches.
