The Student Government Association hosted its annual Afro-Caribbean Pageant on April 29th. The pageant showcased several contestants and gave them the opportunity to educate people more about their cultures. Before the start of the event, a reception was held in the Underwood Lobby which featured traditional Ghana cuisine. The pageant, held in Decker Theatre, had three parts. A showcasing of their nation’s traditional attire, a Q&A session, and a talent section. The winner of the pageant was sophomore Tiana Edwards, who represented Jamaica.
