2018 Sigma Tau Delta Induction Ceremony

On Wednesday, March 28th, the Alpha Mu Nu chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the international English honor society, welcomed twelve new members. The event opened with Dr. Courtney Rydel, Sigma Tau Delta’s faculty advisor, who spoke on what a love of literature can give people. The members of the executive board then spoke on the organization’s tenets—sincerity, truth, and design—before inducting students. New inductees were also given the opportunity to read from selections of their favorite literature. After the ceremony, students chatted and enjoyed light refreshments.
