On March 23rd, the Kohl Gallery held its opening reception for its annual ‘100 PROOF’ juried student exhibition. The gallery featured artwork from Washington College students across all years, majors, and mediums, who submitted their work and were selected. The show was juried and curated by local artist and Washington College graduate Kris Kelley, and the opening allowed fellow students, faculty, and community members to experience both the artists’ work and Kelley’s vision for the exhibition. Art from a wide array of mediums was selected, from photography, to painting, to performance art. The event allowed student artists an opportunity to showcase their work in a gallery setting while on campus and gave students a chance to see what their peers have been creating, either inside or outside of class.
