100 Proof

Kohl Gallery hosted it’s annual student art exhibition “100 Proof” featuring 22 students’ works relating to the theme of “Expand Space/Share Place”

On Friday, March 23rd, twenty-two students shared their creative works of art in this year’s “100 Proof” student art exhibition. The theme for this year’s gallery was “Expand Space/Share Place,” which encompassed a wide range of student submissions. The gallery is open March 23rd through April 9th, with a free public opening reception of March 23rd where students talked about their works. The gallery included Dylan Grimes’ “estrellas en el cielo (stars in the sky),” a 3D installation representative of the night sky that people could walk into and experience, as well as Alex Riedel’s “Construction” which depicted the randomly ordered social constructs that society places on us. 

Students featured in this year’s gallery include:Tatiana Baughman, Morgan Bench, Jess Burns, Picabo French, Rachel Frebert, Cameron Gilson, Dylan Grimes, Annie Grosscup, Heber Guerra-Recinos, Drake Harrison, Tia Johnston, Rebecca Kanaskie, Alaina McCleary, Andrew Poe, Alex Riedel, Kyle Rugletic, Madi Shenk, Aaron Wallace Holland, Chenlin Wang, Anna Watts, Casey Wohlar, and Xidan Zhange.
